The Greatest Act of Love
What is the greatest act of love? Almost every Christian would automatically say, to lay down your life for someone. That's what Jesus did and Jesus does love us. But who really made the choice that Jesus would die? If you think about it, it was God the Father. God gave His son to die. Just as Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son to show his love for God in obedience.
So really is it not a greater act of love to Kill or let someone you love die for another? Is it harder for you to give your life to save a murderer or is it harder for you to give your girlfriend's life for a murderer?
Some would find it easy to lay down their life for a stranger. But who would lay down a loved ones life for a stranger. That is the greatest act of love I can think of.
