  - Honestly evaluate (based on benchmarking and useful questions)
    * Would you attend?
    * Would you bring your newly saved friend to attend? ex) coworker?
    * Would you want your kids attending? ex) Would you put your kids thru our kfc, ss program?
    * Are the leaders doing ok?
    * Is there growth or shrinking?
    * Passion or fatigue?
    * Do most churched have this?  Ex) What kind of church doesn't have sunday school?
    * Are you being cared for?  Ex) Sheep shouldn't need to seek help from the shepherd

  * When new comers come on Sunday, they should be plugged into one of the ministries.
  * There should be a gradual transition between each of these ministries
    * There should be a plan


==== military analogy ====
  * lots of little battle units with generals (organizing their own missions)
  * no admirals strategizing and giving plans and orders for overall war plan.
    * to make a plan, you need to know what is happening on the war fronts.
      * what are the needs
      * successes, losses
    * no communications between the admiral and generals.  Regular Reporting or admiral needs to touch base with generals.
    * Strategies include adding reinforcements, providing moral support to troops, changing targets, programs etc.
