Tanga Word Puzzle

So I have been trying to do this tanga puzzle and I just can't figure it out. I was certain the answer was SOUR but it's not. I think the “easy” puzzle is harder than the hard one which I got pretty quick. Anyone? http://www.tanga.com/puzzles/2163-12-27-2007
