Basic log in system

  • Needs to be Secure

User Privileges

  • Nurses, doctors, allied health should have different access / edit ability be default.
    • should be an override defaults for specific users (if the patient gives permissions).
      • ex. Patient signs waver allowing doctor to see physio SOAP notes
  • Clinical SOAP notes and Allied health Notes need to be stored separately? tagged only?

User stories

Locking

  • SOAP Charts need to be locked (signed) by doctors
  • once it is locked, you should not be able to modify it unless you unlock it.
    • if you unlock to modify it, the EMR needs to log the modification history (after you relock it).

Tracking / Logging

  • Every edit (permanent save) to a SOAP note needs to be tracked and logged once the chart has already been locked (once).
    • Date
    • Person making modification
    • Change made
