The Great Flood
Object of the game: Get a pair of animals to the ark without stepping off the rocks and into the water.
Description:
Kids are piggybacked. Top person directs the blindfolded bottom person. They try to cross the room on tape stepping stones without stepping in the water(carpet).
Gameplay:
1. Tell story of Noah. And how God lead the pairs of animals to ark.
2. Have everyone in each team pair up. Have them go piggyback. The person on the bottom blindfolded.
3. The person on top must direct the blindfolded person on where to go. The person must step on the rocks(masking tape squares and polygons).
5. Have every pair try to make it across the room(to the ark). If they step off the rocks into the "water", they lose(go off to the side). The team with the most number of pairs making it wins.
Suggestions:
Have spotters.
Number of People: 10-40
Game length:
Setup: 20 minutes. Put masking tape rocks(squares and polygons) all over the floor across the room.
Game: 20 minutes(+setup blindfolding!)
Teardown: 0 min
Materials: Masking tape. Blind folds(garbage bags).
