Guard Your Heart
Object of the game: To get as many hearts as you can without losing yours.
Team variation: For you team to get the most hearts and lose the least.
Description:
Kids run around with hearts taped to their backs. They try to steal other peoples hearts without losing their own.
Gameplay:
1. Read verse. Proverbs 4:23. Guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.
2. Then hand out a construction paper heart and tape
3. Have them tape the heart to their back (of their team colour).
4. When you say, "guard your heart!", they try to steal each others hearts (of opposing teams).
5. Let them go for a few minutes. They yell, "Stop!" Then count who has their hearts left. Person/Team with most wins
Warning:
DO NOT allow physical violence! Be careful!

Setup: 10 min. Cut out construction paper hearts.
Game: 10 min
Teardown: 0 min
Materials: Contruction paper. Different colours if you are having team play.
