Hot Banana
Object of the game: To not have the banana stop on you.
Description:
- This game is just like hot potatoe except you use a microwaved hot banana. Whoever it stops on must eat the banana.
Gameplay:
1. Have everyone sit in a big circle.
2. Start the music (CD or piano or guitar)
3. Pass a hot banana(HB) into the circle and tell them to pass it around the circle.
4. Randomly stop the music. Whoever is last holding the HB when the music stops has to eat the banana!
5. Go back to step 2.
Teach:
Explain the fruit of the spirit while they are heating up the bananas.
Variations: - Add bananas moving around the circle in opposite directions!
- Add Sardines!
- Add a prize that is wrapped multi-layered with newspaper. When the music stops they rip the paper off until the music starts again. Whoever rips off all the paper gets the prize.
- Add a box of donuts.

note: We use half bananas for younger groups
