Communications Panel

  • The staff need a method to leave messages/tasks for each other.

Composing Messages / Tasks

  • Here the user has the ability to compose and send a simple message.
  • If the user chooses, they can make their message
    1. into a task instead of a message
    2. cc the recipient with a instant message
    3. cc the recipient with an actual email
  • They can also have the system remind the sender and/or recipient after a certain time
  • Alerts can also be added/deleted/managed from the patient demographics.
    • You would also be able to specify which users see the alert.
    • They would show similarly to the instant messages.
      • Except they would show up once per session (log in), when you access the patient data.

User Message / Task Inbox

  • The user can filter what types he wants to see (Labs, docs etc). The total number of each type is also shown in the brackets.
  • The user has the ability to sort by up to 3 fields
  • Also notice the search box
  • Sent mail tab would look very similar

Feedback

  • single click filters in non compact view
  • non compact view should not open new window, just eats more screen space.
  • maybe drop box in the compact view
  • completed, “reviewed”, replied
  • archive all when you click delete.
  • Conversation history like gmail.
