Current Holdings

Stock Person (Entry point) Exit point Thoughts
CUM Jackson (5.02) For me to break even, I need to leave at 5:13 to cover the service fees. I am looking for atleast 5.5, but will not stay in past 6. :) After the FY11 news, I am staying in. I expect CUM to drop some more in the short term but I think it can break 5:13 in 2012. I want to exit and break even and buy back in at a lower price point.
CUM Peter (5.46, 4.82, 4.71) Mid March rally won't happen now. I'm hoping for mid April.
CUM Peter (4.62) Emptied all of my cash …again. Pushing my exit timeframe to late April - mid May.
CUM Peter (4.59) I am very scared. I can't concentrate at work. I can't sleep. I decided to leave. I sold all shares at 4.59. Total loss is at $6000 dollars. I'm traumatized by this experience. I want a life. I want to live like a human being. I want peace. I want love. No more trading for me.

Indicators / Tools

  • Peter: I prefer indicators base on the DSP technique. DSP stands for digital signal processing.

    • Monte Carlo filter (a form of particle filter)
    • Wavelets (Haar, factal)
    • Fisher Transform
    • Inverse Fisher Transform

Lessons

Copper Mountain

  • If you bought some stock and the price drops (for no good reason), buy more.
    • You must have the capital to top up, so don't use all your capital on first purchase.
    • Ideally, leave enough money to top up several times.
  • Very important: stick to the plan. Don't let greed/anxiety jump. For example, I knew all along that 5.00 and 4.60 are the only buy prices (from my own calculation). However, look above for my entry points. I made several attempt at 5.46, 5.07, 4.82, 4.71, 4.50, and 4.62. This is very bad. It shouldn't be like this…. this is because greed/anxiety got hold of me. One-shot one-kill is all you need. Multiple-shots one-kill is bad and I'm still learning to control this.
