Photoshop / Design Classes

  • All course material will be taught in application to ministry.

What you need

  • A laptop that you can bring to class
  • photoshop CS2+ installed

  • Class 1
    • Introductions
    • Design 101: Contrast
    • PS 101: History, Zoom, Ctrl/alt/shift/space
    • PS 101: Selecting - tools, feather, modify
  • Class 2
    • Design 101: Repetition
    • PS 101: Selecting - masks, transforming, rulers, guidelines and snap
    • PS 101: Text and rasterizing
  • Class 3
    • Design 101: Alignment
    • PS 101: Layers - manipulation, hiding, combining etc
  • Class 4
    • Design 101: Proximity
    • PS 101: Image adjustments (color), layer types, opacity
  • Class 5
    • Design 101: Creativity & Inspiration
    • PS 101: Tools - Fill / Gradient, Clone, Brushes
  • Class 6
    • Design 101: Fonts and Typography
    • PS 101: Useful filters - sharpen, gaussian blur
    • PS 101: Understanding Resolution / printing

Format

  • 1 hour classes
  • Each class will:
    • cover some design/creativity lesson
    • followed by a photoshop skill lesson
    • followed by hands on application/exercise
  • any class notes etc will be posted on this site.
