Soooo… this post is about my headache… I have been sick since Thursday… Wed night was really bad trying to sleep… it was crazy hot and I think I had a fever… when I woke up I felt ok… but after walking around for a bit my headache came back and I was feeling dizzy… so I slept the entire day… like the ENTIRE day….

the next day I woke up feeling much better… there were still traces of the sickness… my joints and muscles were super sore… but I thought I had the worst of it beaten… at around 2ish… I thought I would head out and check out crossiron mills… get some fresh air, convince my mind that I was healthy again… well, while I was shopping my brain decided to tell me I was still sick… side note here: I thought the mall was an outdoor mall but it's actually an indoor mall… so I went home and slept some more… and slept some more….

Saturday I was feeling a bit better again…. similar to fri… I had tickets to Lion King which were pretty $$$ and also Jenny has been really looking forward to it… so I brought some pills with me just in case… during the show, I was forced to pop back an extra strength tylenol… after that I headed home to sleep again since I seemed to be getting more sick again….

today…. I am feeling well again… I am wondering if I should head out again and get sick again or just stay home… :P :)

So it been quite awhile since I have last updated… not that anyone really reads this… everyone is on facebook now… I don't really enjoy facebook… it feels really disconnected for me… sorta feels like a whole bunch of teenagers trying to be cool… haha… :) My website definetly needs a redesign… maybe if it looked nicer, I would update it more often… :)

so what have I been doing all summer? lots and lots of weddings… costa rica with the family… church summer camp… I didn't even have a chance to plan a big BBQ or board game nite… *sigh*….

Summer Camp was really good this year… there really were signs of life… it's kinda sickening how quickly things return back to normal after summer camp every year… Is sickening too harsh a word? … Sometimes I am surprised by how cynical I can be… :) What is this taste in my mouth?…. maybe I should go brush my teeth. :)

Going to watch Lion King at the Jubilee this weekend… hopefully it is good… considering I didn't really care for the movie much… my all time favorite cartoon movie is “Transformers, The Movie”… In terms of disney movies? mmmm… can't really name any I like, maybe my brain is not working properly at the moment… I like the CGI stuff like Pixar's stuff… Toy Story, Bug's Life, Ratatouille…

I put away my projector today… I am going to take some time off from TV… it's not like I have really watched it more than one hour in the past 2 weeks… but none the less, I am putting it away… it's one of those things that just keeps your mind occupied and numbs your thoughts… now if only I could cut myself off from youtube… :)

… went to costco yesterday to buy candy for candy grams for summercamp… even though I am not on the summer camp committee… ahem. :P :) … some people were looking at us funny cuz we bought an entire shopping cart full of candy… like $300 worth… crazy huh?

… on Sunday I went to sleep at 8:30pm… and slept until 8:30am… how crazy is that? I don't know what's going on with my body lately… I used to sleep 5 hours a night and be good to go… I thought as you get older you are suppose to need less sleep because your body does less healing/regeneration…

…another weird things is I have been thinking about a vision I had a year or two ago about praying until fire falls… 2 Chronicles 7:1… like praying at a set time daily type thing… after Mark Davy spoke at our church, I remembered many visions I've had in the past but kinda just gave up on… like because I have become, as Alanis would say, Jaded… and cynical… the “breakthrough” sessions really helped bring back some of my optimism and idealism I use to have back when I was young and excited… so I was dwelling on this daily set prayer thing and even remember asking myself even if I did decide to do it, what the heck time would I do it at? before work like early in the morning? …

well… the crazy part of my story is that for the past 6 or so days I have been suddenly waking up at 7:30am each morning… Except sunday… before you all think I am just a little crazy, on one of the days I actually woke up cuz I heard someone yelling my name twice… Sounded like David Yang… you know with his quick angry/joking voice… Jackshun! Jackshun!! it was unreal… actually more like very real… I sat up alertly in my bedroom to see who was calling… haha…

soooo…. I am thinking God might be hinting something to me… difficult to discern… I dunno… it might be good too cuz then I can go to work earlier so it's easier to get parking… so so far, out of the few days I have woken at 7:30am, when I wake up, I check the time to see if it's 7:30am (which it is) and then I promptly gone back to sleep… we'll see… :)

This week is a little crazy for me… 2 AGMs (Thurs / Sun) and a wedding (Sat) to go to and board meeting tonite… thank goodness I passed on playing guitar sunday… the crazy part is trying to put together our churches AGM booklet in just a few days… considering I can't read or write chinese, it's quite silly that I am compiling all the reports… hopefully there is time to print it. I got the majority of the reports sent to me yesterday (Tues)… that's a little last minute don't you think? most of the booklet will not be translated I am guessing… I will probably end up printing it manually since there won't be enough time to get it taken care of by a shop.

(side note: don't really know what the point of printing a booklet is anyways… do people actually read or is it just killing more trees?… and creating more work for everyone? ministry reports, translating etc)

…feeling a little low on juice today… board meeting tonite… so I guess that gives me Friday to work on and print the booklet… good thing I stayed up late last night to do as much as I could…

work is good today. We got free muffins and stuff this morning. It was nice… small gesture, but nice… -oh and I got the last piece of banana bread… yippee! Who doesn't love banana bread?
