So… there's going to be another round of 24/7 :) May 24-31 I think… more details to come! :) speaking of 24/7… the calgary website has been running out of bandwidth pretty consistently these past few months… so I finally moved it tonite… hopefully when the domain switches everything is ok… :)

So… Sat and Sun I spent a great deal of time watching live streaming God.tv about the current florida healing revival with Todd Bentley… and then spent probably some 12 hours online reading about skeptics of his ministry… which led me to articles about Patricia King… gold dust… the toronto blessing… angels… demons… bob jones… mike bickle of IHOP and the Kansas City prophets… the latter rain movement and such… needless to say, my brain was on major overload… I was trying to discern the credibility of the articles as well as the video footage of the revival I saw…. :) I know, I know… this is not what a normal person would do in his spare time… :P :) I think there's some footage on youtube too if you want to check it out. Crazy stuff! :)

Contempo is doing a national online survey of the English congregations of the Canadian Chinese churches. The purpose of the survey is to find out more about the English speaking congregations within the Chinese churches across Canada (irrespective of age, employment and ethnicity). Through the survey, we hope to learn more about the difficulties Christian career people face.

In order to have a representative study, a broad sample is needed. The deadline of the survey is May 31st, 2008. It will only take 15 minutes to complete. To do the survey, simply go to http://projectcontempo.ca and follow the link provided.

So I think everything is finally stable… urbanonastery.ca, ccpc.ab.ca, piano-works.com… I even got Jackson.chanclan.ca set up again so hopefully this new host is good :) …It pretty cheap but the guy was quick to respond and setup the account… and he is canadian so… but it's too bad that the data center he is using is located in Texas… it will make the pages a bit slower to load… oh well… I'm just glad to have this all taken care of before I get busy with the cccbpa national conference stuff again…

So let's see… what's happened in the past 20 days… we went to stagewest to see “Little Shop of Horrors” on sat… it was pretty good… the food wasn't as good as last time though… what else… the sting ray touch pool at the zoo is open for touching now… we went at the end of the day and the rays seemed all touched out… they avoided my hand like girls do rw… we won a bowl set at TNT… :P :) more on that later…

The snow has been a real downer… I am still itching to go rollerblading and start more summertime activities… there's a short period of time in spring when it's nice out and there's no mosquitos yet and it dissappearing!

So… the flames lost last night… I even brought my old tv upstairs from my basement just for game 7… oh well… Can't knock them… they made it to game 7… I thought they'd be out earlier in the series… so what are all the die hard hockey fans going to do now? Montreal I guess?

So I took the day off work today… a much needed break… I pretty much relaxed the entire day… I worked on some summer camp graphics for maybe 2.5 hours in the afternoon… but that's pretty much all the work I did… watched the movie “Jumper” and 3 episodes of “One Piece”, a pirate themed anime… surfed boardgamegeek for a bit… cleaned up my prayer room… the only time I left the house was just to pick up some McDonalds for dinner…

I finished reading Punk Monk last week sometime… it was an ok read… I liked “Red Moon Rising” and “The Vision and the Vow” better… but it was still a good read… lots of practical reading, less inspirational… Not sure what the next Christian book I pick up will be… I already own quite a few titles that I have yet to read… we'll see…

My stereo receiver/amp broke the other day… sucks… cuz that thing sounds so good… now I will have to fork out some cash to get another one… for now I am using computer speakers for my music and movies etc… Computer speakers!!! :P :)
