Man… work has been so busy lately… even stressful… and I still got this annoying little cough… oh well… what can you do eh?

so we watched spiderwick chronicles in the theatre the other day… it was pretty good… but they totally changed it from the books… and completely condensed the story… oh and the main monster dude wasn't very scary… but that's pretty normal when they make a book into a movie and keep it PG or less… it was still pretty exciting though :) They did a really good job with Thimbletack… if you know the book :)

… what else… we finally had a meal at The Living Room… we ordered cheese fondue for appetizer, 2 entrees and a desert… let's just say it was a little pricey… the food was excellent… but it was pricey… oh and cheese fondue is way overrated… but our entrees were suberb… it was like a flavour explosion in my mouth! … a flavour explosion that empties your wallet :)

Today at work, the company we're renting space from had a “fun” day… they played Deal or No Deal in the cafeteria… it was pretty funny… they had cash prizes up to $100… and I think at lunch they are playing Name That Tune… on Valentines day they had candy grams… which had vouchers for one day off work, 1/2 day off work etc etc inserted randomly in them… kinda nice… I wish we did stuff like that… well… I'm off… later peeps…

Has it really been a full week since I have posted? :) So not much new with me… starting to get busy again… but things are pretty manageable… ← is that how you spell it? … so Valentines is Thursday… hmmm… isn't this the time of year that guys who are dating go nuts trying to figure out what to do and guys that aren't dating go nuts from loneliness? :) ahhhh… gotta love valentines day… :) I wonder how many roses are bought for this single day each year…

So I don't know if I have posted about this yet… but the CCCBPA (Canadian Chinese Christian Business and Professional Association) is having their national conference this year in Calgary! I am glad it's in Calgary… I wanted to go before, but have always been deterred by the travel… I am pretty much 100% going as I will need to be meeting with other chapters to discuss national stuff… One cool thing is they are trying to organize a massive survey targeting chinese churches. That type of info may help us better understand what our churches need to do to grow etc…. http://conference.cccbpa.ca

So I was in this store the other day and I noticed a product I have never seen before… it was curry-ketchup! I always said they should sell mayo-ketchup… but who woulda thought of curry-ketchup… so ofcourse I bought some… When I got home, I looked on the internet to see what I am supposed to use it for… and apparently… it's for "Currywurst". It's quite a big bottle of curryketchup… so it looks like I'll be eating lots of currywurst… or else, it just going to be another bottle of sauce added to my fridge… I have a lot of unused sauces in my fridge already…

On a completely different note… I am not the cccbpa treasurer anymore… I'm the VP now… which is much better… I am not well suited to be treasurer… we all know that I am not the most organized or administratively gifter person on the block… But I'm glad to have done it for one year just to learn and stuff… but let's just say I am glad I am not an accountant or a banker…

and back to curry-ketchup… just in case you are wondering what store I bought it from… it's from Edelweiss Village (http://www.edelweissimports.com/)… they sell lots of cool european imports… food, baking supplies, cuckoo clocks, nutcrackers etc… it's quite a charming store… lots to see and explore… I saw two things I liked that were too expensive to buy :P :P :P :)

Still battling this sickness…. I think this is the longest I have been sick in years… like maybe 10 years… My immune system just doesn't seem to be able to kick it… I finally had a chance to sleep in today… normally I just need to sleep in one day and then I will all better… I think I need to make some better lifestyle choices… more exercise… more sleep… less stress… that sort of thing… :P :)

So it looks like I overdid it… and I have gotten myself ill… I went home early from work yesterday… and didn't go to work today… I am feeling lots better but still have a runny nose and cough… but atleast my sinus headache is gone…
